Your First 30 Days

Register or log ln to the Member Portal. There, you can check your eligibility and claim status, view authorization and update demographics.

Complete the Health Risk Assessment (HRA) to provide more information about your health care needs and earn a Healthy Reward.

Confirm the information on your member ID card, including your Primary Care Provider (PCP).

Schedule your annual wellness visit with your PCP as soon as you join the plan.

Review your Welcome Kit to learn about all the benefits of your plan.

Answer the Call

Once you’re enrolled, CareFirst health specialists may call to offer assistance. They can help you complete your Health Risk Assessment (HRA) and understand DualPrime’s many benefits to ensure you’re getting the most from your plan.

You may also get a call from CareFirst Pharmacy to discuss your medications, how best to manage them and any other concerns you may have.

Finally, CareFirst has partnered with Porter Cares, a local company that may call you to set up an appointment to see you in the comfort of your own home. They can offer services such has home health screenings, access to local resources, help scheduling your doctor visits and more.

We want to hear from you! Once a year, you'll receive a CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) survey. By providing feedback, you'll be helping us make improvements to your care.

Mail Order Prescription Drugs

Have your prescriptions delivered right to you.

Get your maintenance prescription drugs sent directly to your home for no additional cost.

There are four ways to sign up:

  • Ask your doctor to send an electronic prescription for a 3-month supply of your medication to our mail service pharmacy partner, CVS Caremark® Mail Service Pharmacy.
  • Sign in to www.caremark.com Select Prescriptions, then select Start Rx Delivery by Mail. Enter your drug information to confirm your drug is covered and follow the prompts to submit your request. The mail service pharmacy will contact your doctor and get the process started for you. (Note: You cannot access this option from the Caremark app.)
  • Call Customer Care at 1-844-786-6762, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (TTY: 711).
  • Submit a claim form directly.

  • Bathroom Safety Items: Your plan includes up to two plan approved bathroom safety items a year.

  • Rent, Groceries or Utilities: Activate the prepaid card (mailed to you when you joined the plan) and self-attest (confirm) you have a qualifying chronic condition. Then use the card at any qualifying grocery store or local utility company.

  • Comprehensive dental allowance of $3,000 annually
  • Use the Find a Doctor link in your member portal to find an in-network provider and making make an appointment.

  • $0 copay for one routine vision exam, a $150 eyewear benefit toward lenses, frames and contact lenses, and Medicare-covered eyewear after cataract surgery

2025

  • $0 copay for 36 one-way trips per year through SafeRide
  • To schedule a ride, call Member Services at (844) 476-6334.

2024

  • $0 copay for 24 one-way trips per year through SafeRide
  • To schedule a ride, call Member Services at (844) 476-6334.
  • Members with COPD, CHF, Diabetes or ESRD receive a medical nutrition therapy assessment and up to three follow-up coaching sessions per benefit period.
  • To schedule an assessment, call Care Management at (844) 386-6762 (TTY: 711).
  • Available for a $0 copay after discharge from an inpatient hospital or skilled nursing facility
  • To receive your PERS, call Member Services at (877) 215-0635.
  • Four visits per year for a $0 copay
  • Use the Find a Doctor site to look for a Podiatrist in our network or contact member services for assistance (844) 386-6762.

Earn $15 in healthy rewards when you complete routine screenings like:

  • Earn $20–$50 on your reloadable healthcare prepaid card for completing specific health activities ($290 annually).
  • Health risk assessment
