Compliance Attestations
At the time of contracting and on an annual basis thereafter, CareFirst will provide all FDRs with an FDR Compliance Attestation that must be completed and returned to CareFirst’s Medicare Compliance Officer.
Any FDR that also uses offshore entities or resources to administer functions delegated to them must also complete the FDR Offshore Services Attestation at the time of contracting, and annually thereafter.
The attestations will be sent by, and must be returned to, the Medicare Compliance Officer. An authorized representative from your organization will be required to complete and sign the attestation, attesting to your compliance with Medicare Compliance Program and offshore requirements.
