* Effective January 1, 2024, CloseKnit will be a covered benefit for members enrolled in a specific Medicare Advantage plan (please check your Evidence of Coverage Chapter 4 Medical Benefits Chart in your member portal to check if you have coverage). Members in those plans will be responsible for the cost-sharing and costs will apply to the maximum out-of-pocket amount.
MedStar eVisit
24/7 urgent care services, referral to testing, in-person urgent care or emergency services, primary, and specialty services.
CareFirst members in MD, DC, or VA. You don’t need to be a MedStar Health patient but if you are, MedStar Health will coordinate your care with your doctor. MedStar eVisits are conducted by MedStar Health providers.

myPrivia Virtual Clinic
24/7 primary/urgent care, on-demand and scheduled appointments with board-certified physicians.
CareFirst members located in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Washington, D.C. You don’t have to be a current Privia patient to use this service.

Follow these tips to get the most from your telehealth visit:
- Register before your appointment
- Have your CareFirst member ID card ready
- Find a quiet, well-lit space with good reception
- Make sure your device is charged
- Make a list of symptoms and questions ahead of time
- Be prepared to discuss any medications or medical devices you use
- Ask for a summary of the appointment and any next steps
